Q: How do I "register" with Bella?
A: Our clients know Bella only recommends well qualified people. As a result one must apply and qualify to be represented by Bella; it's not simply a matter of "registering". The first step in the process is to submit your resume to our recruiter. You can e-mail your resume directly to the recruiter at apply@bellaservices.com , fax your resume to (813-200-1557 or mail it to our office (see Contact Us). Once our recruiter receives your resume, he/she will determine whether we are in a position to help you. If so, the recruiter will then call you to set up a time for you to come in to apply and interview.

A: Yes, we stick to strict security guidelines and keep all personal information confidential.
Q: Do I have to pay a fee to use your services?
A: Our services are free to the talent we represent. Our clients pay a fee for our services. Rates are quoted at the time an order is received and vary depending upon the type of services requested.
Q: Do you have pay-by-the-day jobs?
A: No, we only offer positions in office environments and do not staff for-day laborers. We pay our external talent on a weekly basis.
Q: How does your staffing company work when it comes to finding me a job?
A: Once you have successfully completed our screening process. We will be in a position to help you with your job search. Our client companies have asked for our help in hiring top talent and at any given time we have numerous openings to fill. We work to match our qualified candidates with current openings. To do that we consider a person's skills, experience and abilities, his/her career goals and ideal working environment in relationship to what the hiring client company is looking for and has to offer. We will only contact you about positions that we feel would be a good match from both sides of the desk. Once we have spoken with you about a position and you have shown due interest, we will then forward your candidacy. Interviews will be scheduled as appropriate and if both you and the hiring company feel it is a good match, you will begin your position.
Q: How do you know what skills I have?
A: The application/screening process includes completion of computerized skills assessments. The type of skill assessments will be determined during your interview and will depend upon the type of position you are looking for. In addition, we offer training on Microsoft suite programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. If you haven't worked with a particular application or would like to learn something new, please let us know and we will assist you with training.
Q: Will you check my background and references once I have come in to apply?
A: Yes, we complete a criminal background check on every person we represent. We go back 7 years and look for convictions involving crimes of violence or dishonesty. Job History Verification and employment references will be checked. We require at least two positive references (with no inappropriate negative references) to be represented by Bella.
Q: How quickly can Bella get me a job?
A: Once the application/screening process has been successfully completed you will be contacted about appropriate openings. We work with hundreds of client companies so the list of current openings changes daily. We will do our best to help you but please understand that we do not guarantee you a job.
Q: What is the proper etiquette for finding a job, interviews, etc.?
A: Remember to present yourself professionally both in person and over the phone. When speaking with a recruiter or potential employer use correct grammar and stay away from slang. Be sure your answering machine or voice mail has a recording that is professional. Do not play music or play jokes on the person trying to leave you a message about an interview. Also, when going to an interview remember to dress professionally. Leave your kids at home or with a sitter and if you are car pooling ask the person who brought you to wait outside or come back when you are finished. Turn off your cell phone before beginning an interview. (See interviewing guidelines.) |
